Just because it's not what I'm used to (I would wear CARGO SHORTS all day every day if I could), I would have thought that there were several things a person couldn't do in those long narrow dresses that they like to wear in the Middle East. Riding a bike would have been one of them, but clearly, I was wrong.

I am still uncertain how safe the garment is to WEAR ON A BOAT, like these guys in Egypt on the Nile. I'm NOT A STRONG SWIMMER to begin with, so I can't imagine what my swimming would look like if I had a long tube of fabric restricting my legs like a mermaid, I'd probably sink straight to the bottom like a dart.
